Paraw sailing in Boracay

Sail into the sunset on one of those outrigger canoes outfitted with blue sails. Don’t forget to bring some ‘baon’ and just enjoy the cool breeze as the paraw slices through the azure Sulu sea.

Island Hopping

We’re not too thrilled about the island hopping boat tours, well, because you’re already on the BEST island there is. But if you’ll be taking the island hopping tours, you can just skip the other islands and go around the different spots of Boracay, namely Puka beach and the corals near station 3.

Skim boarding in Boracay

If you’re interested in learning how to skim board; Mimi’s cousin Jam can hook you up with Skim board rentals and lessons. The best time to skim board is during the low tide specially when sand bars develop.

Mountain Bike / ATV

Biking in Boracay

The best place to rent a bike is at the eskinita right beside the Red Coconut. They have decent bikes. You can also rent at the bike shop at D’ Mall but the bikes are a bit rusty. Places to see on bike is Mt. Luho or for a more leisurely ride you can bike along the beach at the other side of the island (near where the kite boarders are.) Biking along the White Beach is prohibited just so you know.

For the ATV, you can rent ATV’s along the road just past Discovery. You can ride the ATV up to Mt. Luho and savor the view of the highest point on Boracay.

Kiteboarding

Kiteboarding in Boracay

Kite Boarding lessons are a bit expensive. Last I checked it was around 15,000 for 3 lessons. But I hear you can try the introduction part for 3,500 for 3 hours. Check with the Kite Boarding schools located at Balabog beach (the other side of the island, walk the road beside the lake near the D’ Mall)

Massage

Either you get approached by the manangs in ube uniform or seek them out along the walkway; having a massage on Boracay is a must. If you crave for something more fancy, you can try the Mandala Spa. They have two locations on Boracay, the one with a more modern ambiance is inside Discovery Shores and the more back to nature type is near Station 3.

Lounging around in Boracay

The best thing to do in Boracay is nothing! Haha just curl up with a good book, lounge around on a hammock or take a swim when it gets too hot!
